- FOUND: Scanned vehicle for trouble codes and found, P006800 MAP/MAF – Throttle Position – Correlation Active/Static P044100 EVAP Emission Contr. Sys. Incorrect – Purge Flow Active/Static P227900 Intake Air System Leak Passive/Sporadic P006800 MAP/MAF – Throttle Position – Correlation Passive/Sporadic While inspecting vehicle we noticed that all the cooling system hoses are sweating(wet) on the outside of the hoses. We removed expansion tank cap and found the coolant is contaminated with what appears to be oil.
- INSPECT HOSES AND CLAMPS. PRESSURE TEST COOLING SYSTEM. FLUSH ENGINE, RADIATOR, AND HEATER CORE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. CHECK THERMOSTAT AND ELECTRIC COOLING FAN OPERATION. REFILL WITH NEW COOLANT.

- Intake manifold was removed to gain access to the engine oil cooler. The engine oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly was removed. The engine oil cooler was replaced while the engine oil filter adapter was washed. The mounting gaskets have been replaced and the coolant pipe between the thermostat and oil cooler was replaced as well since it is made from plastic we did not want to risk a coolant leak when re assembled. Test drove vehicle after repairs to verify no coolant leaks.
