The battery is good, starter is good and the alternator is good. We checked the voltage at the alternator output and it is 15.00 volts and at the battery it is 14.98 volts. Checked the power and ground wires to make sure they are not loose. Checked the power cable at the alternator to make sure it is tight.

We removed expansion tank cap and found the coolant is contaminated with what appears to be oil.
- INSPECT HOSES AND CLAMPS. PRESSURE TEST COOLING SYSTEM. FLUSH ENGINE, RADIATOR, AND HEATER CORE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. CHECK THERMOSTAT AND ELECTRIC COOLING FAN OPERATION. REFILL WITH NEW COOLANT.

- Intake manifold was removed to gain access to the engine oil cooler. The engine oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly was removed. The engine oil cooler was replaced while the engine oil filter adapter was washed. The mounting gaskets have been replaced and the coolant pipe between the thermostat and oil cooler was replaced as well since it is made from plastic we did not want to risk a coolant leak when re assembled. Test drove vehicle after repairs to verify no coolant leaks.
