- FOUND: We scanned vehicle for trouble codes and found, C0051 Steering angle sensor failure. U0126 CAN communication failure with absolute steering wheel angle sensor. C1420 Main torque sensor and sub torque sensor incorrect correlation. C1422 SUB torque sensor malfunction. U0416 VSA system malfunction. We raised vehicle on rack and found that the same electrical harness, leading to the steering rack, is damaged by rodents. 2 of the 4 electrical wires have been chewed on. We repaired the 2 wires and secured the electrical harness. We cleared all trouble codes and test drove vehicle to verify no more steering issues are present.
