- We found that engine is making a rattling/knocking sound, maybe the engine oil is too thin and the engine has wear. Spoke to the customer and spoke with her about trying an engine oil additive to hopefully help with the engine noise. Recommend the oil additive be used at every oil change. Test drove vehicle and the engine noise is definitely quieter than when vehicle arrived. Also found that lower transmission pan gasket is leaking and needs to be replaced.
